Timing Light for MSD 44

I have an inductive timing light that I have used for years on Vertex OXC.

Seems to be giving me problems with my MSD 44.

Recommendations?

We use a Flamming River brand self powered timing light.

 

Get a non-dial back Craftsman.

I use a Craftsman with a dial back, works fine on my 44's.

Got mine working again last night. I have the Craftsman. My battery clamps were wider than the lugs that I was clamping on. It was the operator's error again. I did order a Flaming River. Like the D cell battery and the flash light feature.
