    Has anyone ever tried this?

Converting over from blown with carbs on gas to injection on alcohol. Spent so much on injector, fuel pump, fuel tank, ect, ect, ect.... Don't have the money just yet to buy new pistons rods and pins but would like to play with the car until then.

Ant help would sure be appreciated.......

My very first race car was a BB/FC (1977), so we made a "training engine" (BBC) by replacing the 1/2 stroke crank w/ a 1/4 stroke. This dropped the compression down to about 9 to 1. It served its purpose but would only run mid 7s at 180+. I have very little blown gas experience, but if memory serves, you should be able to add more air and fuel volume on alcohol. What type of engine is it?
