Very Sad Day In Albuquerque

    I lost a very dear friend yesterday.

    Kent Nuckoles passed suddenly while at work. Believe me when I say we lost a good guy. He never spoke a bad word of anyone and he loved TAD racing.

    Please say a prayer for Belinda and his family.

    Rest in peace my friend.

    Lawren, very sad to here about Kent, he was a very tough racer and did alot on a shoestring budget. What exactly happened? John

    John, the autopsy has not returned yet, but they believe it was a heart attack.

    Tough racer is correct. Thats how we became friends. A long time ago he whipped my butt in a match race here in Albuquerque. It was embarrassing. I thought I better get to know him better and find out his secrets. Thats when I found out what a good guy he was. He answered any question I had. Next time we raced it was a different story. Because of his help the two cars ran very close to each other (I think he still kicked my butt though) thats when a long and friendly rivalry began. Damn I'm going to miss that guy.

    Kent drove my TAD to 5th in division 7 in 2004. He was a very good driver and I will miss him a lot. He was an excellent person and everyone liked him. Yes, a very sad day. Herb Linder and Margo Callaghan of Western Country Racing

    It's truly sad to hear about his passing. Kent was a great guy and racer, and I'm glad to have known him. My condolences to the family.

    what a big suprize to me iam speachless..I would call kent whenever I need parts..thanks to kent we now have a new wing on our ta/d I will miss kent very much...god bless him and his family...Dave Lowe secondwind racing

    Kent was one of the first drivers I worked for. He was one of the most honest and knowledgable people that I have ever met. I will truly miss seeing him pop up at some of the oddest places to see a gentleman from New Mexico racing.
