Curious what the drawbacks are. We currently run a 16 line on a FC but see many top teams running the 8 line system. Curious who's making this system work?

I got my 8 nozzle system from Randy Anderson. I think he is one of the best alcohol tuners out there these days. One of the advantages of 8 nozzles is the fact they are larger- less chance of a clogged nozzle. The 16 nozzle system like Norm Drazy came up with is a very adjustable set up but the dribblers can be kind of small. I never plugged a nozzle but I worried about it all the time. Dave Germain

Butch, I have the same problem with #2 at an idle. The way I understand it is that the PSI tneds to pool fuel in the front of the manifold. Once I rev the car to stage it comes back in. The way it was explained to me was that if you leave the line with all 8 hot and firing it will be really tough to get down the track. There was a time with the 16 line system that I spent a ton of time juggling nozzles to get the car even at stage and even at the top end. It was a nightmare. Then I would get to a lousy track and the car would shake my brains out. Randy could probably explain it better than I could. His number is 1-909-944-2915
