    Good job guys!!!!!

You drove good, ran good and beat some damn good cars. Can't get any better than that.

I bet you wake up with a hang-over tomorrow though.

    Again, congratulations [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

This is coming to you from the Clint Thompson trailer (wireless/cellular internet) I wanted to say thanks for this post, and add my congrats to Clint. The hot rod was bad, and the driving was excellent! Clint earned 100% of this victory. We're partying tonight!
    Thanks to:
Clint Thompson (Driver, tuner, money man!)
    Danette Thompson (The Boss!)
Tyler Thompson (Bad ass clutch man!)
Kelly Mercier (Oil, and general prep)
Scott Davis (Valves, heads & tuning)
    Brett Davis (Bottom End)
    Bob Miner (the man!)
    Dave Loney (me)

Want to say a special thanks to Greg Miner for his help with "the thrash" between rounds!

    This tastes good!!!!!!

    Awesome job guy!!!

This one had to feel good. You didn't just win, you were the car to beat! Keep mowing them down...except when you line up against me...LOL

P.S. How bad does the hangover feel after a win? ;)

I'm glad Clint ran a 5.59...but he didn't have to wait until we were racing him to do it!  :D

After Clint took us out, Greg Miner ran over to thrash on Clint's car to help get him ready for the next round. What does that say about the quality of people in the alky pits?

    Congrats to Clint and team!!!

all i can say is wow!! it really does feel great to finally win a big wally, and thanks to you all for the kind words. my crew worked really hard, greg and bob miner jumped right in and thrashed with us twice to get ready when we hurt some minor stuff (no pun intended).Randy, you are so right about the people in the alcohol pits, not only are most people ready to jump in and help anyone (even the one who you just raced)everyone in the pits congratulated us and told us "great job" etc. it feels awesome to have such a bunch of wonderful people as friends. Lawren, no i didn't get to have a hangover, had a couple beers, relaxed for a bit and then loaded everything up and headed for home, gotta get ready for sonoma and try to get in a couple days at the dealership (even though it's mighty hard to focus on work). jason, larry, shawn, thanks for the cudos. i know you all know how hard it is to win and what it really means.

    Clint and crew;
Outstanding performance...MBRE power sweet eh?...great driving..sorry we couldn't stay to congradulate you in person....we were pretty embarrassed about our performance in the first round...and another big thanks to Greg miner too...the rain friday night found it's way into our trailer generator and he gladly jumped in to help us get it running again..he got greasy and everything...I think he liked it! [IMG] ...it was a bad weekend for us :( but I'm very happy for you :D ...until Sonoma then

    Gerry:

Larry Miner is a great driver and all, but I really scored getting Greg, huh? Last time I saw him on Sunday he was wandering around the pits looking for a bottom end to do, or an engine to change, or generator to fix, or...

So thats what its called! Can't imagine how it must be for Clint. Personally I'm a little more rummy than usual, and can't stop smiling.

Its obvious to me how people get addicted to this stuff!
