I am working on a 120" f/c chassis that has a 71 mustang body on it and need some help! The car wants to shake the front end violenly as soon as you start doin a burnout and when you get on the throttle! The caster seems to be in the ball park at 10 deg. and the tow is good as well. The caster is also the same from side to side. It has a well supported steering shaft and steering stabilizer. I am stumped on this one and any help would be appreciated, Thanks in advance, J

We had to put two stabilizers on our car before it would stop shaking. It hasn't done it since.

Give your front wheels a slight amount of toe-out, this should cure your problem.

Also check your front tires for balance and that they are round. Jack the front of the car up a couple of inches and spin ea. front tire with a spin balancer. You will be supprised at what a little out of ballance will cause.
