BBC Oil Restrictors

    Has anyone got any experience of using these?

    We have some and have considered fitting them a while ago but wanted to know if there ok to use?

    I tried running with no restrictors and found too much oil went to lifters, not enough oil to mains.
    Installed restrictors. No oiling issue since. 1 restrictor in the back of each lifter oil gallery. make sure the orifice is forward of the cross over oil hole that feeds between lifter galleries.

    As darmstrong stated no oil to the mains. We had this problem and spun #5 main twice before figuring out we did not have restrictors in the block that be purchaced. Save money and put them in or call tom at blacks.
