I just got of the phone with Mitch Myers who is on the way to Seattle for the Nat'l event. Driving down the road he come upon Mike Cofini's trailer engulfed in flames on Snoqualimee Pass. It appears they were able to remove the truck, but the trailer/car appears to be a total loss. Mike is a hell of a nice guy and is the definition of what a person can do on a budget. I only hope that Mike can somehow recoup and return to the sport.

That's horrible, seems to me that I've heard of too many of these types of accidents lately.

We've raced against Mike quite a few times in the past and he is a hell of a nice guy, hopefully he can get it all back together again.

I heard that it was either brakes or wheel bearings that got too hot.
