My newly built Brad II will not fire on #1 and #2. I am running the same fuel system as before rebuild. The tune up has not changed. New plugs, wires are verified to be good. I have heard about a magnet becoming demagnitized but I have not verified this. Any thoughts? Also, the box has been replaced so that would be the only variable thrown into the mix. Thanks in advance.

How did you verify the plugs wires as to how good the insulation is. Normally what goes bad first on plug wires is the insulation breaks down and causes the spark to ground out. I have never heard of a problem with magnets in a ProMag 44. I would swap out those two wires with new ones or known good from someone else and test it again.

Thanks for the replies. We got it figured out last night. Somehow, someone messed with the barrel valve. It was 20 flats out of adjustment (too fat). Of course, no one touched it! At least is was simple and cheap to fix.
