A/fuel injector...

    hello.. i noticed most a/fuel teams don't use the enderle barn door... why??? what makes the other ones better?? i know automan can modify the barn door what does he do to it???? what does this improve??? thanx in advance...Mike Taylor

    Mike, Automan builds his own injector. A lot bigger than a barndoor.

    It has been our experience that the Enderle Barn Door is much harder to control idle / staged speed because of the size of the throttle plates and the fits in the throttle bores.

    Ask Randy Meyer he runs one as well as myself.
    I have no problem controling idle butdo have to have all the plugs in if the air is great.
    The round butterflies are easier to set and adjust because they gnerally have much less sq. inches of butterfly area and the fit in the bores are tighter. That said once you get them set you don't have to mess with them. The idle can be controlled with plugs or valve in the manifold.
