IHRA just said that Evan Knoll has sponsored the Nitro Jam series. Its amazing that Mr. Knoll has come through AGAIN to save the day. Thank you Evan Knoll now its time to get the show started.

 

It sounds like he'll be sponsoring the entire series as well.

 

this man is unbelievable. he must be the biggest drag racing fan in the world. has the sponsor for a/fc been anounced yet. ( don't worry spiro, i am trying to find a new pic to post.)

 

I wonder what would happen to the IHRA if Mr Knoll moved on and stopped helping then out??????

Yeah, I worry about that too... Probably the same thing that would happen to the NHRA but on a larger scale since Knoll is "only" involved in NHRA by sponsoring a ton of teams. Personally, though with everything I know/have heard about Evan, I think it's much more likely that he'd drop NHRA in favour of IHRA if push ever came to shove. I think it's entirely possible that he'll buy IHRA outright and really give Glendora some trouble...

But enough of the worry-wart on a happy day. IHRA is about to get started, they have a great new sponsor (one that makes sense unlike eMax), and all us drag racing fans are very fortunate to have such a super-fan with deep pockets involved!

 

Now that is the best idea I have heard in a long time!!!!
It would be just like back in the day when Larry C owned it, was the first to get Winston involved and was causing trouble for Wally and the boyz
I miss the days of having AHRA, IHRA & NHRA
