    NHRA:

Please rescind this rule before another altitude race becomes a joke like Tucson has the last two years.

98% might be a good start.

    ...

My comment was merely referring to '06 Tucson being referred to as a joke since we happen to be the winner. I have no intention of getting into any discussions on any of these boards on parity...that's all....

    didn't mean it that way

I didn't mean it to diminish your team or Shields' accomplishments in Tucson the past few years, but I think it's safe to say that giving the A/Fuelers 100% at altitude definitely needs to be looked into. At very least the minimum altitude needs to be raised above somewhere like Tucson, with an intermediate setting, ie 98 at Tucson level tracks.

Tired of hearing from people that don't even run this class on what should be done. Bottom line there was one fast number ran buy the A/f car, question is why didn't the blown cars step up??

I know I should not say anything because I am no longer a dragster guy but I can not hold my tounge. The run Shields made a tucson was out of this world for a blown car and if you can not see that its because you dont want to! Just an FYI the best a blown car has ever run at tucson was a 5.36 and that was done with the gissmo blower a lot of years ago by Rick Santos. That is still a long way from the number that Sheilds ran. No blown car is going to ever run that good at that elevation at that junk race track!

Do you have yours flown in from Amsterdam, or do you have it shipped direct from Vancouver?

Whatever it is, it must be some good chit...

The track is not junk, some people walking around the bar area are rude and wont move out of the way of the tow vehicles. Other than that its a great track

If you dont think that the track is junk it must be because you have never driven a car at the 800' mark in the left lane at 260 plus. We had a meeting with all the alcohol drivers there last year and they all said how scarey it was down there. Its sad when you have to hug the center line down track to avoid the series of ski jumps. I am not trying to be an ass but in a blown car with limited down force it is one of the worst I have ever seen!
