How often are you changing burst panels if your only running 30 psi boost?
Found a hair line crack going into round 2 not enough time to change.
put some trusty duct tape on it and went for it, lost 3 psi and the race
and blew the corner out when the chutes came out, and the motor leaned out. tune up is still mild, had about 20-25 passes on it.
    any info would be appreciated.
    Thanks Jay

Put a dot of silicone on the inside center and you can even put some silicone around the creases on the inside. PSI also makes a burst panel cage that allows you to run two burst panels, pretty trick piece.

    burst panel

I THINK WIZARDS SELLS A BURST PANEL GAUGE TO MEASURE HOW MUCH THE PANEL MOVES WHICH YOU COULD MAKE A C SHAPED PART TO LAY OVER THE PANEL AND USE A PAIR OF DIAL CALIPERS OR A DEPTH MIC TO MEASURE MOVEMENT OR THE ONE THAT I'M NOT SURE HOW SELLS USES A INDICATOR SIMILAR TO THE ONE USED IN THE CLUTCH CAN. THE NEXT THING IS ARE YOU USING A PANEL FRAME IN THE REAR WITH A ADJUSTABLE BOLT. WHEN THE MOTOR IS IDLEING IT IS MAKING VACCUM AND IT CAN ACTUALLY BE SUCKING THE PANEL IN AND OUT. THE BEST THING TO DO IS ADJUST THE BOLT BEHIND THE PANEL TO STOP THIS AND AS UNDERYBY SAYS YOU A DAB OF SILICONE. WE SELL REAR PANEL FRAMES WITH THE BOLT IF YOU DON'T HAVE ONE AND YOU CAN SEE PICS AT WWW.RBSSUPERCHARGERS.COM UDER THE BURST PANEL SECTION.
