Neck brace with Hans

    Does any one know if you have to use a neck brace with the hans device. Seems like watching the winter nats guys on the big end did not have one on. I know I saw at least one guy take one off????

    Hans does not recommend that you were a neck brace with the Hans device. I have actually heard that it can DECREASE the effectivity of the Hans. But I guess some folks are more comfortable with them.

    hans device with neck collar

    I just picked up a hans and helmet combo from simpson and they recomend ed not to use them together.

    Hey thanks guys thank you for the info. I hear that once you use the Hans you won't want to go back, but it does take a couple of runs to get used to. Oh well I don't care if there is a badger attached to my head I am ready to make a lap. Its been too long of a winter. Thanks guys .
