50th Indy race Entry list supposeably hadn't been open to the gernal public only to divisional champs and highlighters. The list is pretty impressive already one problem though, last time i checked this is Ashley Forces 1st year in TA/D and shes on the list can only guess its because of daddy. When did this sport turn into "Whos Your Daddy?" Does this bother anyone else?

    So what. Are you jealous?
FYI-The owner of the car has enough points to attend. But even if he didn't who cares????

Hope you aint saying Jerry and his crew arent highlighters or worthy of being there. Last time I checked they are one the many top notch times, but thats only coming from a guy whos team has had to race them on multiple occasions.

The NHRA has the right to allow or disallow anyone to run whatever race they want. This is understandable, and I can see where they would allow the high quality team of Darien & Meadows to compete, however, I don't agree with how Ashley's treated as a special case by the NHRA and ESPN. She has done very little in her racing career to earn the respect she gets. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe she posseses a "Wally" for a divisional or national event. Although, I don't think that it will be too long before she has one with Darien making the car go. Look at what Lucas did last year in his first year of Alcohol. On that same point, Lucas was allowed to participate in the prestigious event last year even though he was an Alcohol rookie.

So, do I agree with Ashley participating in the U.S. nationals, yes.

Do I agree with the seemingly popular idea that she earned and deserves the noteriety she's recieving, NO.

New racers in Alcohol class and comp class can race all national events so since this is Ashleys frist year in the alcohol class she can race all nationals if she wants. I was told it says that in the rule book.

Since we are on the topic of Ashley Force, I am very upset to see that her pic is shown on NHRA.com for the Winternatinals with the pro drivers on the Friday page. Last time I looked, she wasn't in Top Fuel. She also has a pic in the Sportsman section for the same race. When was the last time anyone else in the Sportsman classes had two pics on NHRA.com

in regards to her entry to indy this year, i believe last year a provision was made by nhra for car owners. car owners can take grade points from a previous season with them. darien's car finished no. 2 last year and won div. 7 championship with morgan lucas driving.

ashley is good for our class, so get off her back. if she was stuck up or something, i could understand some bitterness, but she's about as down to earth as they come.

Didn't she earn points last year in super comp? I would think she has enough to carry over to do whatever she wants.

Her points or JD's points who cares. She's good for the sport. She's also a lot nicer looking than 99% of the super comp racers including my clutch guy Daniel Oliver. I'd rather see her picture than his, inside or outside the car.

The grapes sure are sour this time of year.
