Tune Up

    I would appreciate your comments on my base line tune for a blown hemi...am I close?
    480", 11 to 1 compression, 8/71 standard helix blower running 40% over, 20lbs boost.
    Cam is .750 lift, 292 degrees at .050"
    990 pump, 30psi pump sizer with a .065 pill
    Main jet 90
    high speed set at 67psi with .083 pill
    Hat nozzles 6 x 40 plus 2 x 42 in front
    Port nozzles 8 x 50
    5 amp mag at 30 degrees

    This is just my opinion, but I think your hat nozzles are a little small and your port nozzles a little big. have you ran this combo and it made 20 psi or are you estimating?
    I would put 48-46-46-44 in Hat 50-46-44-44 in ports (front to rear)
    you will probably find out you will have to change port nozzles to get all cylinders equal. Good luck!

    I agree w/ the above post call Gorr 949 589 9443, they are very good , and if they flow your fuel system they will give you all the info you need to tune your set up. It is cheap insurance !!!! just my 2 cents. Good Luck:D
