Another freind very ill

    I have some bad news about a good friend and fellow racer. Ray Russell the crew chief & co owner of the Cool Clutch Funny Car is in a real battle with cancer. I know alot of you remember him & James Brown. We shared a shop with them for several years. He is a real great guy. He is at home now with Hospice Care. Please keep him & his family in your thoughts & prayers.

    Good Friend

    Ray Russell passed away Monday morning about 9:00 AM. His wife was with him and his family had been with him all weekend.The services are at 2:00 Thursday At Lucas Funeral Home On Sylvania Av. He will be missed by all.
