Drill Battery?

    Anyone Use A Rechargable Removable Battery--dewalt Or Similar To Power The Datalogger? Where And How To You Get A Baseplate?

    We did this for awhile until we went with a Racepack. We started using a Dewalt flashlight as a base for the battery. I would think a charger base would be better to use. The flashlight we used was thin plastic. We ended up machining some aluminum brackets to hold the battery and just using the plug from the light.

    I run a Milwakee power tool battery. Neat deal. a guy in Colorado machines a nice base.

    Be sure and specify the voltage of the batt as he makes them for several different voltages.

    I have been running the MSD battery for a few years now.

    I have not had any trouble.

    we use a milwalkee 18 volt slide on battery. it's the same setup alot of pro stock bike guys use. i'll double check where to get them. it's real handy. i haven't shook it off yet either. i still use the msd battery for the retard box and racepak's battery for their unit.
