What Is The Most Common Brand Of Pedal Clutch Used In A Ta/fc And What Size? Any Reason One Is Better Than The Next? Just Looking For Info, Thanks

10.7" Crower is probably the most popular. Titanium is best. Some are trying 10.5".

 

We had Nick Bonnifonte set us up with a set up got a real good base and starting point and answered all the questions stood behind what he said.

In terms of the Ti content, just the hat/donut, or the flywheel too?

Is there much of a difference between a Crower or an AFT, in a TAFC deal? Either in terms of the clutch itself, or the support?

 

Atleast go with the titanium donut. The best bet is the 100% titanium deal but it's also the most expensive. We were always having to replace parts on our all aluminum clutch and every inspection from Crower was bad news. Since we went to the all titanium deal, the expenses have gone away on the clutch itself. Not only that but consistency and clutch wear have improved tremendously.

As for AFT, walk through the pits and you will see 99% Crower. Starting to see more Boninfante and Molinari stuff.
