    Top Comp is dead in D7 except at the club level and we are expecting D6 to follow soon. It is too bad, I liked having the door cars and dragsters together.

    Take a look at Top Eliminator West It's a 6.30 Run Whatcha Brung deal.
    Butch Stroupe 707-974-3185 And Al Ahten 818-249-6878 put on some great events in Div 7 at Sacramento, Phoenix and Fontana this year.

    A little combining of efforts and we could really have something here.
    It would be nice to be racing cars again instead of racing pocketbooks.

    From what I understand Div 7 is going to T/D and T/S next year, and Top Comp and Super E will merge into those classes.

    I think for future growth of those two classes all the divisions need to get on the same page. I think the groundwork is being laid to make these national classes in the future.

    Talking to Rob Park in Pomona, it looks like Div. 5 will remain a Top Comp division for the forseeable future until there are enough cars to consider separating the two.

    I didnt realize there were that many fast doorslammers here in D7 to feel the need to separate them.

    As far as TGW, they are a pretty cool group. I helped out on a slowed down TAD that ran a couple of those races last year at Vegas and Speedworld. They ran in cunjunction with PSCA.

    www.topeliminaterwest.com Hi guys and girls, Another plug for TEW. Just in case you haven't visited our web site we run a pro tree and a 6.30 index. Lets see the rest of the rules besides NHRA safety are none. If you have a car that can run 6.30 bring it and race heads up with dragsters, funny cars, altereds, what ever. We're here to have fun.
