Clearence between steel donut and flywheel

    At the back of the motor plate.

    We have never run one before whats your opinion? I realize it flexes quite a bit!

    mark, on Jeff's car we usually had around .020" clearance when all is new. You will be amazed at how much the stuff shows signs of rubbing especially when you shake it hard. Just goes to show you how much the crank flexes with all that weight hanging off the back of it. I think it definately helps crank and rear bearing life by limiting movement with the plate.     I tought that ,The nitro fueled, cars have a bunch of teflon buttons pressed into the engine plate in line with the outside diamater of the fly weel to keep the flyweel from flexing?????:confused:
