Mag 44 coil

    Any difference between black and red coil for MSD 44 , except the color.

    as far as i know msd dosen't make the black one any more so any time you order a new coil you will be getting a red one.

    Black vs. Red

    Black coil was made back when MSD had asupplier make it for them. They were not happy with quality and decided to make it themselves, hence the red color to differentiate. Coils perform the same, but mounting holes are different pattern, ( four on black and three on red ). Have one black coil left if you need it. Bobby Blue 359 517 394 3356:)
