Ti can to Lenco

Just recived a new Trick Ti Can and a new Lenco, I must of not given them enought info"NOT" Well the new can has 1/2 13 and the lenco only has 3/8 hole in it for the bolt. Before anyone ask, no not enought materail to drill it out to a 1/2. Now to the question I called ARP today and they want me to have a special run for 1/2 to 3/8 studs? Does anyone know another source or what others have done with when they have run into this issue?

 

I would try a local machinist, that may be cheaper than having ARP do it.

 

How about a thin wall threaded insert. Local industrial house should have them on the shelf. McMaster-Carr will have them to you in a day or two in the big brown truck

found this site on google, look at studs doubbel end, looks like they made what you need, thers more site's too just google studs also did you call Lenco? and don't forget to let every one know how you make out. and I don't mean kissing your girlfriend

 

Lenco was my first call and then Trick Ti Can. both no help.ELI thanks for the help. I might make some myself and have then heat treated at a local shop. But I will call Boltman first.

 

if trick ti made the mistake, why wont they fix the problem? they can change the bolt pattern, just wondering.
