lencodrive- no drive

I have a 2 speed 2005 model lencodrive that worked for 2 runs then on the step had no drive, big over rev. Thought it may have not selected forward gear correctly. Checked everything, cant find a problem. Started car tonight and still no drive, forward or reverse. Took converter apart[coan] and minimal oil in converter. Checked pump gears and look perfect? What to do?

do you run a pressure gauge on the lencodrive? if so what are the readings - at idle and at running rpm. also make sure you have enough fluid in converter, lencodrive and cooler. it sounds like there is not enough fluid in the units - but since you have previously used it and it worked OK - i ask if it is possible that it ran with low fluid and possibly hurt itself?

 

Remove valve body and look at the Pressure Regulator valve and the Converter regulator valve. The PR valve needs to open to fill the converter then the fluid is shared with the converter regulator valve. If the PR valve is stuck in the open position it will only circulate the oil and not build pressure enough to fill the converter. Foreign object in the fluid sticks valves in these units easily but its usually the brake valve that is sensitive not the PR or CR.
Check your reverser for a fork\gear set issue or sprag.

Try switching to a B&J trans. that will fix it!

 

Have you tried calling lenco or snyder ?.
