Thanks Tim - I'll call him shortly.
I hear there is a shortage of the springs at the moment due to a bad batch of titanium. Anyone know when they'll be available again ?

    retainers

You also might try Victory 1 retainers. Take them to 10,000 + on a regular basis, Conrad Dahl is an ex alky racer. 704-799-1955

Call Jeremy @ BAE, he has the new TI/XP springs. Heard nothing but good about them. They are made by a racer, for racers. They are on most TAD & A/FUEL top teams now.:)

    manton

We're very happy with the support and parts we've recieved from Noel at Manton Engineering. Manton makes their own locks, but deal Victory retainers.

    Thanks to everyone.
I don't think too many people make retainers for the PSI Ti's, but I got some from Steve Sanchez.
Apparently Titanium is in short supply all over, and the price is UP.

Rich - do you have any more info on the Ti/XP springs you mentioned ?
Is this from a new manufacturer of Ti springs ?

Yes, i do. They have been tested for the first half of this year on a blown alcohol dragster, with great success, & the second half of the year they went into full production. Currently running on T/AD, TA/FC, & A-FUEL cars. Soon to be tested on a few Top Fuel cars. Current distributors are BAE, Tom Conway, & Randy Anderson. So contact either of them for more info.
