    blower belt

about one inch of movment on the opposite side of the idler pulley. this must be done cold. as the engine warms up the growth of the engine will take up the slack. hope this helps .

    depends...

    depends on application...

on a screw blower 8mm application, they seem to live longer running them tight. about 3/4" cold...1/4" tight.

knock on wood...3.5 yrs crew chief on cannon's car, 1.5 years driving fc....no blower belt failures.

we put 8-9 runs on belts.

oh, btw, rbssuperchargers.com is the best place to get your belts!

Always check tension again after spinning the engine over. These tight blowers will give you a false feel.
