    Posting this for Will Hanna who is on the road.
    Long time Lee Callaway crew member and friend Kenny Ruthart also known as mini me was killed last night in a work related accident. REST IN PEACE and GOD SPEED

    RIP and Godspeed to a good friend. On and off the track, Kenny, or Mini Me as Lee dubbed him was just one of those fun people to be around.

    Times like these are hard, so I'll try to share one of my favorite stories.

    A few years back when I first met Lee and Kenny, we were in Baton Rouge, and the drinks were flowing pretty good. We were having a good time going back and forth, when Lee's brother Johnny said 'OK, its time for us to go hit the motel.' Kenny replied with a choice word and asked him who the hell gave him authority. Johnny told him 'Don't you see right there where it says 'Crew Chief Johnny Callaway?'

    Kenny promptly told him those were just decals and were easy to peel off.

    We kept drinking...

    We'll definitely miss you my friend.

    Man who wouldn't have a good and funny story to tell regarding Kenny? My heart sank when I read this. Thoughts and prayers to his family and of course Lee and his family who were very close lifetime friends with Kenny. The Calloways are the best and Kenny certainly was as well. God speed.

    My thoughts and prayers are with Kenny's family and friends. Kenny my friend you will be missed by all. Pease be with you and hope to see you on the other side.

    Funeral Services for Kenny Allen Ruthart will be at:

    Howard-Glendale Funeral Directors
    1015 Federal Rd
    Houston, TX 77015
    Phone: (713) 453-6373

    Viewing will be on Tuesday from 5 p.m to 9 p.m., and funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 11 a.m.

    A gravesite service will follow at San Jacinto Memorial Park.

    Kenny can be seen standing behind the car just over the cockpit beside the injector. You can see he has a smile on his face. That's how we remember him.
