Anyone know the story of what is going on in that camp? Is Steve done or is this just a move while they get the car back on track. All looked well in that camp at Chicago.

    Ironic

Kinda funny to see someone who is so heavily against the mighty A-fueler step up and drive one.

What's up with Torrence? Too many starting line games? Too many pedal jobs after smoking the tires 3 feet into the run?

Just cuz a guy is "against" them, It doesnt mean he should pass up an opportunity to drive one of the best prepared cars out there. That would be like an a-fuel guy telling Norm Grimes you dont wanna drive his blown car.
Good Race cars are good race cars, no matter whats in the tank.

    c-ya at Fontana.

I have never heard Lee bad mouth the A fuel guys. He simply stated he was parking his car until something was done to make the blown combination more competative.

    pfft...

Lee was a stanch proponent of more overdrive for blowers... not for slowing a/f's. Lee's never been nasty about doing away with a/f, he just wants a little a level field. I don't see that as being a traitor, that's being fair and a man of integrity.

Lee's a good guy & I'm glad to see him step in to keep points going for the Conway team.

As for the whys that Stevo's out, I can't say. I'm sure the kid will roll with it, or learn to roll with it and I hope the kinks, whatever they were, will work themselves out for him. I'm sure he's probably already looking forward and and we should, too.

In the meantime... gratz, Lee... put your foot in it & keep it there to the other end of the track. You've got a good team and lots of friends behind you.
