check the inner burst panel after run it is ok, gaskets are o rings seems all ok. just been looking at data and as motor is coming to stage rpm through the 4000 rpm range it shows 2.5 to 3 lbs then it drops off again to 0. it used to have 8 to 9lb at 6000. it has 50 lb at the finish..

    flat

check or change your blower oring

then you need to check the straightness of all surfaces....blower, plate and intake.

also make sure you dont have a boost line that is creating a leak somewhere.

has your camshaft been out of the motor since the runs you are comparing it to? or a new cam? maybe the cam is not installed at the same degree it was before?

more than likely its a bad oring. we fought that alot back with a custom mag intake we had on cannon's car. you could visibly see it spit fuel out the back at stage. the mag moved around so much that it distorted the blower.

Has your actual performance suffered? If not, you may just have a bad boost sensor?

Lonnie car ran PB of 5.703 on the weekend however i find that i have had to drop the fuel flow volume at stage a considerable amount (by about a third) to keep the motor alight indicating to me that it may have lost the boost??

Check for leaks on the line going from the manifold back to the data logger ;)

    old trick

Stu; after checking flatness of the manifold surface and replacing the o-ring, see if you can find "toolmakers blue dye". We yanks call it Dykem, it is for layout to see scribe lines.
I'm sure you have the equivelant. It comes in spray or brush in cap, cans. Do the whole surface of the manifold.
Being an old clutch grunt, I know you'll find faint blue stains at the back of the manifold dribbling down, if the leak is under the blower from the alcohol.
Now I'm glad I didn't get to go 'cause of the rain policy B.S.

    Stuart:

I deleted all of this post and PM'd it to you instead.

No need to spill all the beans here. I don't mind helping the Aussie's in private, though. Besides, it was a long winded rant.

I may go there for a visit some day and see how the boys are making out.

Hey Randy, I like your style! You might like to know that this car is running 125% o.d., but what you said has a bunch of merit. Stuart, remember what I said to you earlier that day......;) ;) ;)

I've run Shane Sanford's deal at 92% and now 125% with a similar spool I made for his BV. Same rules apply.

Keep telling Stuart I said to not let those guys fill his head with mush. He's closer than he thinks.
