    epoxy

My heads have epoxy in two runners(same runner each head, core shift, issue, .5 inch by 1inch long) and I use JB weld and a very fine screen, I tape the screen in place (screen on the inlet side tape on the pushrod side) let the JB weld flow out flat on the intake surface after it sets up (overnight) I flip the head to the pushrod side peal off the tape then JB Weld that side letting it flow out again, very strong, very thin, and it does not seem to mind the alcohol, not so far anyway.

i have used a product called marine tex. available at any boating supply store. it is a two part deal with the base filler and a catalyst. hardens real well and seems to hold up for alcohol duty and is relatively easy to machine/hand port.

    epoxy

I have used this also, I could only purchase it by the gallon, much more expensive, works well though, I would still use screen if you are covering a hole in a port and are running positive manifold pressure.

Comp Eliminator head porters when using epoxy in ports and running alcohol use a sealer called "Spash Zone". Have never used it so can't comment much on it other than they say it's incredible stuff.
