Need to paint Littlefield mag

I want to paint my 14-71Littlefield magnesium blower to black,any particular prep work,primer,paint etc Thanks Les

The Dow 7 Coating Is Actually A Prep For Paint Originally. A Quick Scrub With A Scotchbrite And A Good Degreaser You Could Paint. If You Wanted To Do A Show Paint Job Probaly The Primer Isn't A Bad Idea But Keep In Mind Fuel Will Probaly Running Across This Thing At Some Point And Might Damage The Paint. Also The More Stuff You Add To The Case The More It Will Retain Heat. I've Used The Black Wrinkle Vht Paint Kinda Gave It A Kobelco Look For 6.00 Good Luck

You will want to use a metal prep-Conversion coating. Like Henkel. They are handled in the US by Loctite. v v

Follow up with a good Primer and compatible top coat and it will hold up to just about anything. Check with your local paint supply on what they handle.

Like in any painting its 10 hours of prep and 10 minutes of painting. LOL

Make sure you have good conductivity through Blower to Ground. Check with Meter.
