    Agent 1320 has heard from two different reliable sources that the rumor going around that NHRA is at least looking at the possibility of dropping the supercharged TAD class in 2008 has some basis in fact. Sources inside the NHRA confirmed to the Agent that an all-injected nitro class that could act as a developmental class for Top Fuel cars is something that has been discussed. This can’t be good news for the TAD racers.

    The Agent’s question is, If they do it with dragsters, why not injected nitro funny cars? Don't write the Agent the angry letters, TAD fans, the guys at NHRA are who you need to lobby. [5-3-2006]

    do they really have to officially "drop" BAD. It looks like it will go away on it's own, with no more AFD rules changes. It may take a longer than a year, but I think we can all agree it's gonna happen
