    Hello,

Flatout Gaskets markets a paper/steel laminated "Mini" Burst Panel Gaskets, like those found on fuel cars. We can also make you "weld-in" frames for use with fabricated sheet metal manifolds.

Feel free to contact Flatout for more details - 877.837.9200

Your not serious,????(new ?????) every blower manifold ever made in the 50`s 60`s 70`s untill some enterprizing analpassage, convinced the powers that be to mandate burst panalles, had one of you new popoff valves,(as they were known back then) on them, just another thing to make it cost more money to race, so only the rich could do it!!! (Talk about if ain`t broke don`t fix it) They lasted forever!!

thats something i dont get. what is it that burst panels do that the old pop-valves dont?

other than giving you something to measure after a hiccup.

Um... I am not sure if your post was directed to me, but I'll bite.

These are made for nitrous engines so that if they have a nitrous sneeze while staging they do not blow the top off of the manifold and/or ruin the carbs.

They also have the kind that blow-out and have to be replaced but I couldn't remember who made them.

Quote, some will say they won't hold the pressure of big blowers. end quote. That's why they have big adjustable springs.
