Thanks for the respect guys [ especialy after phoenix] as you know
my team is me [driver] my 19 year old son cody,[engine builder,trans builder,clutch man,top end man,crew chief],wife trudy,pulls key off mag
sprays injector to start,adjust mag for timming,fuel system computer ect.
well long story short cody has a full ride scholorship in academics,at the
university of utah he is majoring in engineering,he has to maintain a 3.8
grade point average to keep his ride.as you can imagine i was asking a
little to much to do all that in school and build and maintain a race car
good enough to run with genius like jerry madern ,norm grimes,dana hopewell
mike johnson,well you get the point sorry if i left anyone else out that
kicked are ass last year?we are going to make as many as we can but
school comes first .thanks again LOVE YA AND YOU BOYS PLAY NICE

Gordon made a good lap testing today. Gasparelli over ? is my prediction. It was 78 degrees today at the 4,000 foot facility. I strongly doubt anyone will run 250, but it could happen.

Sorry Larry and I aren't there to defend our runner up position from last year.

 

Duane Shields is running Mike Johnson's BLOWN Alcohol Dragster this weekend at Tucson, with Dana, Bill, & Brian turning the wrenches, & Brandon is just there to work on his tan. 3 crew chiefs & 2 drivers all in one pit, could prove to be very interesting!

 

Newberry will be at the d2 race as well.without me of course.

Tucson will be a "FANTASTIC DAY" for the Blown Alcohol Cars! IFFFFFF Mr. Demke drives well...and his "Teammate" Mike Austin drives well, we could see a repeat of Pheonix....But i'm going out on a limb here.....I like Bobby's Chances. Tucson can be "TRICKY" for any car and I think Consistancy wins this race. But, I'm kinda diggin that Duane Shields / Mike Johnson combo???? I'm Guessing Sean O'bannon is NOT going to be at the Tucson race???? If So, He win's ....GOING AWAY! But, I have to make a pick...I'm gonna be a "HOMER" here!
