Anybody know if NHRA approved the 8973? Researching the use of it before acquiring.

I run a programmable digital MSD 7 box that controls my MSD MAG, Individual cylinder timing and retard for down track. I have never seen were this illegal. MSD was happy to help me with the two linking them together. It is really nice.

It all depends on what class you are running. I believe that both NHRA and IHRA state that in the TAFC and TAD classes that you can have no electronically controlled ignition or fuel control. I figure they will have to change soon. Which Digital 7 are you using.. the 7530 or the 7531. If it is the 7531 then doesn't that have traction control and that for sure would be against the rules.
