Randy , I have great respect for anybody that will get into one of these things and make a pass. DT and DT are both great drivers, but I am kinda jaded having worked with DT for so many years and seeing what we did with just about nothing. By the way great job at Pomona. It must be great having Pete back. Also Randy in honor of you, when we painted our back up body we used blue ,purple and orange. I dubbed it the Randy Goodwin memorial body. Its in honor of all the great looking colorfull cars you had in the past.DT hope everything comes together soon. Randy good luck next time out.

 

Yeah I remember, that was at Cordova. What you may not know is, we didn't have oil pressure and we saw you guys were having problems. So Ziz Sr. told T.J. to stage the car. The deal went about 60 feet and threw the rods out!

Hey Doug, Santos was not in fact cheating. He did usae that blower yes, but it was not techically illegal. If it was in fact illegal, he would have like the others who were using it been penalized for it.

Blaine Johnson is no doubt number 1 in TAD period.

Conway is up there even though he is not my favorite, Darrell Russell is in the top 10 and that 5.80 with the helix in Atlanta in 94 was stout.

Funny Car it is Austin and Manzo. Bob Newberry at number 3 and moving up.
Tony Bartone at #4 and if Boggs tuned another TAFC with a good driver/money for ten years they would be number 5.

 

ok, i know this guy isn't one of the top 5, but he definately deserves a mention. Chuck Baird! he was a terror for a few years, and had he not ran out of $$ he would definately be on that list. he could have won the title one year, but didn't go to the finals. hard racer
