years ago I wanted a set of projacks. I called them three times and no one ever returned my calls. I don't know how they conduct business like that? I finally had to build my own. I bought the rams from the local enerpack dealer. The $300 price for a ram that projacks quoted you isn't too bad of a price compared to my local enerpack dealer. Enerpack is an expensive brand to start with.

I built my own jacks and picked up the rams from Ax man surplus for $45.00 for the set. I don't know what Pro-Jack uses I just located a set of rams that would do the job and built the jacks to work with them. They work great and will lift the chassis 21"

pro jack has a patent on these type of jacks, everybody else is making there own type illegally from what I have been told.don't think it is wrong to make your own for yourself, but probably illegal to make and resale.

I think a company called Patriot made them too. May not anymore due to lawsuit, check National Dragster.

    Good Luck,

If anybody has any problems with their jacks= ProJack is happy to help with any problems.

Might as well give you the answers straight from the horses mouth. A 5 inch cylinder for the 15 inch lift height is $175(typical for a doorcar or dragster front and rear). A 7 inch cylinder for the 17 inch lift height is $200 (typical for a doorcar or a dragster rear). A 9 inch cylinder for the 19 inch lift height is $225 (typical for most funny cars). There are even replacement Seal kits for sale for $25.

There is now someone who works full time in the office to answer phone calls. If no body answers, you can leave a message and you will get a call back within 24 hrs. If someone doesn't answer- a lot of times it is because they are on the other line or putting jacks together.

As far as getting jacks from anyone else- it is illegal to make the jacks and sell them. ProJack has the patent on them- and many of the chassis builders who have decided they were going to make them themselves have pretty much ceased all production and have actually become dealers for ProJack. Yes, there are a few builders who still illegally make them, but it is only a matter of time before that ends. Patent laws are still in effect in the United States.

If anyone has any questions or problems- feel free to call
800-755-JACK (5225) or visit www.ProJackEnt.com for further information

Besides, wouldn't you want to buy jacks from the original? Safety isn't something to mess around with. Geometrically, ProJack Race Car Stands are the safest jacks out there. They look like they are easy to make (which is completely untrue), but I personally wouldn't want to be laying under a car on homemade jacks or cheap lookalikes- I guess cost isn't a factor to me when it comes to safety.
