rodek parts

    could anybody help I am trying to find a contact number or address for rodek blocks or may be somebody has a piar of sump rubbers for a rodek (chevy) tall deck block can anyone help I am desperate

    correct me if I am wrong but , the 481T block is NO LONGER produced as we have two of the late series 481T's with the spayed mains in our TAF

    Whatever you need you are going to have to buy used or make yourself. About the only thing you may be able to buy new, is studs.
    When you say "sump rubbers" are you refering to pan gaskets? If so you will have to make them yourself.

    you can use 5/8 in. of silicone sealer, thats what we use to seal the ends of our pan

    since nobody has yet said it a 481T is just an aluminum copy of a BBC truck block and anything that was made for a BBC fits this aluminium block.

    481 T Parts Are No Longer Being Made,there Are Main Caps Being Made For Earler 481 Blocks With All Stright Main Studs ,caps 1-4 The Early 481 Blocks Do Need A Diferent Pan Gasket That Is Out Of Production,rodeck Sold The Molds To Someone In Canada Last Year.we Do Have A Supply Of Head Studs Hear At Alan Johnson.you Can Contact Me @alan Johnson Performance,805-922-1202 Thanks,doug Russell

    To years ago we had to get a new set of Main caps the one that came with the block 25 or so years ago finally broke. We did the burnout and was staging and turned the Nitrous on and the fuel pump wire had a short and killed the motor, that was our last race so we pulled the motor and was tearing it down for a fresh up and the 3 center mains were broke it 3 places each. We had to have head studs made for it when we put the big duke heads on last year. Man those thing are really long.
