    Posting this as a reminder to all TAD/TAFC teams that plan on running any D7 events this year.

    RE: LODRS pre entry

    Date: February 6, 2006


    For the 2006 season the following pre-entry policy will be in effect for all Pacific Division LODRS events. Due to pit area logistics, and to get all the Alcohol cars pitted together, as well as scheduling, this program will further help us help you.

    Each contestant must submit the attached pre-entry form to the Pacific Division prior to attending any event. Only one form will be required, but you may send a form for each event, or for the entire season. For each event entered, you will be granted car/driver entry, plus five (5) crew passes. Any additional crew passes may be granted by, or purchased at each track.

    If a pre-entry form is not submitted prior to you attending an event, the track will charge you $150 car and driver entry, plus any crew fees (generally $50 each person for the weekend). This will be done regardless of a racer having a Gold, Silver, or Bronze card. If this happens, don’t call me and expect me (or the track) to reimburse you for these charges.

    We are still working out details on certain events, but you can plan on having qualifying sessions at 4PM on Fridays, and Noon and 4PM on Saturdays at each event. Eliminations will commence at Noon on Sunday. For those wondering about revised scheduling (loss of Friday qualifying session), the only tracks being considered for this are Sonoma (due to curfews) and Las Vegas (due to overall event car count). I’m still working with the tracks to maybe run a later session on Friday at these events (5PM or later).

    I still think it's counter productive to penalize us for having a large car turnout at one or two races, especially when NHRA used the "Low car count" excuse for taking away races from us a couple years ago...so I'm confused..No offense intended but if TAD/TAFC are considered the top class at a Divisional event, then if something needs to be eliminated, it should be from a lower Class category. I would love to have the Phoenix and second Las Vegas National events reinstated to our schedules.....
    O Ya...we are going to Phoenix...
