Hi folks ??? Is there a ballpark setting for a 525ci Alcohol motor Idle check popit valve?. From earler post I read that 68% to 72% is ballpark for barrel vavle leak down. Looking for help on this info so if you could help please do . Fuel System: Bird catcher 990 Enderlee pump, 1471 High Helix Retro Littlefield with nitro barrel vavle.

Id start at 72% and 5 lb idle. then id see how it responds and take idle temps.shoot for around 280 egt and 130 head.Their is more, like secondary pressures and how close to the main circuit you are and what temp you want the stage temps and so forth.

have you had your pump flowed?? I think you might need a bigger pump? as for some more inputs on the pump see what other guys think.

are you sure your barrel valve is a nitro barrel valve? they make a k style for both alcohol and nitro. If is a nitro you need to get the alcohol one
