Is it a new crank. I've seen where they didn't relief the crank radius wide enough or with the proper radius. Had a repair once do that after it came back

I forgot to mention it’s all 8 of the top rod bearings and the main guy and tuner has been in top alcohol since the 80s starting with blowers then moving into A fuel a

Which bearing are you running? I know with Clevitte we run V series. The M's we ram with blower are too soft.

Lets wake this thread up, any updates OP?

    How is the main thrust?
Can the clutch chatter when not engaging fully, violently shaking the crank back and forth?
If the crank journals are straight and the fillet radius is not too big, could the wear be an indication of the pin end of the rods rocking front to back, pinching the bearings?
    Tire shake?

Perhaps piston guiding the rods isn't as crazy idea as I thought.

Put V’s in and check. I tried M’s once with similar result. Now only use an M on the thrust.

Running the M's is your problem I am pretty sure. I have cpl dozen sets of M's and we still had to buy the V's because M's will not live in A/fuel
