this may not help you for this but we have replaced all the bearings to the rubber sealed ones, before we started running syn oil we ran atf and had all kinds of bearing trouble from the metal from the clutches, switched to the sealed bearings and it went away, now with syn oil not ATF we have hardly any wear and not one bearing failure, but it doesnt allow oil to transfer case to case so you have to fill each case with the amount you want in them

John 111, 10 different people tryed to help you, if you found the problem, you can at least tell every one, so when it happens to some one else it can be told to them.!!

Sorry for the late post, bussness forced me to hold off untill yesterday. I pulled the trans and filled it on the bench. It did not leak with the reccomended oil capitcity. I did not check the angle of the mounted trans in the car,it should of been done before it went on jacks. I will check the angle today and put it on the same angle tonite to see if this has something to do with it. Thanks for the advice guys,I will keep this thread updated as I find out and maybe help others also............. John

One more thing if you cant find the leak this way, take the bell housing and mount it on the trans ,on the bench , maybe its pulling on the front of the trans and the leak cant be seen unless it has some stress on it.;)

I re-installed the trans last nite,it did not leak on the bench. I installed a new front seal and installed it with sealer on the outside housing of the berring and filled it per spec. A coupla drops ran out overnite, does not seem to be nearly as bad as before. I will pressurize the pods today in the car and see if that makes it worse,(it did not matter on the bench)
Ill keep posting my results as they come....................................John

Look real close for a hairline crack around the front seal. Install the input shaft and overfill the transmission on the bench.
