Dragster is currently running NA with Hilborn stacks and a 110 (or maybe 990) pump. I have a 6 an off the pump through the shutoff with return poppets before the shutoff.

    I’m bolting on a 14-71.

Going to use a square Bv. Max hp will be about 1400 - 1500 hp at 20 something psi.

Debating whether I can just put the square bv on the end of the existing plumbing or if I need to redo it all with an 8 an out of the pump through a 3 way and move the return poppet/pill up to the Bv??

You need an 8. What does your pump flow? What kind of fuel pressure do you want?

I did a quick calc. Seems like the 6 will be fine with the return poppet right on the pump. Minimal pressure loss at ~8 gpm. It looks small but unless I’m missing something, it should flow just fine.

Pump I is around 11 gpm. I’ll shoot for 160-170 at the pump at 8000.
