Hoping to hear from the pool of experience on ITA: can anyone recommend a good puller for a very stuck lower blower pulley? My puller is absolutely not up to the task. Also--any tricks the veterans can share??

I did, but not too much. Biggest problem is the claws on my puller can't positively engage on the back side of the pulley. As soon as i start cranking some decent pressure--one of the claws jumps off.

Just to be clear are you talking about the pulley or the hub that the pulley mounts on?

Thanks Dave--great question. I am talking about just the pulley. I used a little bit of heat (propane) just to try to break any threadlock that might be between the pulley and the hub, but no luck. Still stuck solid onto the hub.

I know what puller would work but seems like an unnecessary expense. I like hydrotherapy's idea.

Rewarm it up first to soften the loctite.

be sure that your crankbolt/washers is smaller than the centerhole in the pulley.
