Sealant used on Blower case

Question for all you that maintain you own blowers. I just went through mine (first time) and the only concern I have is what sealant are those of you with out rear rotor plate gaskets/seal using as a sealant. Upon disassembly I found a very thin coat of an amber-ish colored sealant between the plate and case ( Mike Kuhl 1471) it was also used on the front Gear case cover gasket and it is unfamiliar to me. What say you .

 

sounds like monkey snot 3m rubber adhesive stick everything together including your fingers

 

Could be...

 

Here at Littlefield’s, we use Yamabond 4, it’s what Yamaha used to seal their motorcycle cases
