spark plugs problems, NGK-11, 6061

    Hi Guys, can some one help me,, Center electrode pushing up NGK -11, 6061 ,what are i doing wrong??
    please check pics ,random cylinder ,have change leads ,does it at the hit of the throttle,When they stay in motor runs well,,, psi screw, hemi

    Is it possible that they are a counterfeit run of NGK plugs? There was a thread on ITA and on the internet that described how to tell.

    How many times has this occurred? If more than once then was it on the same batch of plugs that you bought?

    Mike 4 times, three on this batch H61T & once H28U about 2 year ago
    i got the H61T from bojec about 2 years ago only open box this year

    These look to good to be fakes but maybe ??,i look on the net the fake ngk look real cheap,Dose any one know have the Chinese copy the 6061 ??? they do every thing else,cheers

    looking at the color on the plugs and they look safe so no detonation BUT the only thing that can do damage like that would be pre-detonation or also called pre-ignition. In other words random firing of the spark plug. This can be cause by the rotor phasing being way off so spark is jumping around in the mag cap, or plugs wire insulation broken down and plug wires bundle together so spark is jumping from plug wire to plug wire or the crank trigger wire is too close to a plug wire or the coil wire and the high voltage spark is being picked up on the crank trigger wire and randomly firing the spark. Make sure the crank trigger shield is grounded and the cable runs far away as possible from coil or plug wire

    I heard people talk about some bad batches of -11 plugs floating around out there. Apparently several NHRA teams have had the same trouble.
