We run a System 1 with a stainless element. It's a #10 in and out. We run a #10 because we use a Pete Jackson Barrel Valve. If your usins an Enderle barrel Valve you can use a System 1 #8 filter. We run ours between the pump and the Barrel Valve.

    filter

funnycar I run a kinsler -8 monster mesh filter between the pump and b/v and could not be happier with it ! I had problems plugging port nozzels with small specs of aluminum from making the fuel cell larger ,when I first got my car out . Now my fuel system is spotless and the filter is a snap to clean.

We run the same type of setup as Lonnie. I think that having the filter between the pump and the BV makes it work like an accumulator when you hit the throttle and stops pressure spikes. It also helps smooth out the fuel pump pulses. I am amazed at the dirt it catches.

i use a -10 cone type filter, it is a piece of very fine mesh in a cone shape it slides into the front of the barrel valve and you just screw the main line over the top of it and it is held between the two fittings it seals fine and stops heaps of small junk, i put my fuel system on the flow bench and checked to make sure there was no restriction and it was fine, the only problem i did find was if you ran a flow meter on the car you had to put it after the meter as it must create a small amount of turbulance and it screwed up the signal out of the flow meter ,other than that it works great easy to clean and its not big and bulky like the systems 1, i got it from jr at rbs superchargers his add is on the site and his number is 530 292 3368

    Fuel Filter

Jamie The Filter Idea Is Priceless To Your Motor Longevity. I Think The Best Spot Is Between The Shut Off And The Barrel Valve. We Sell The Cone Type Filter That Goes Into The Fittings As Aaron Talks About. We Also Sell An Enderle Filter That Goes Between The Fuel Pump And The Tank. You Can See Pics At Ww.rbssuperchargers.com Of The Two Filters.

We use the same as topalky511, filter in BV, although when we leaked the BV down we found it made a 2% difference. and checked this 3 times.
