Aluminum corrosion

    I had to run a tap in the 1/8th NPT threads on the under side of my blower case rear and removed the hard anodizing . Alcohol will puddle in the exposed threads , is there anything I can put on the now exposed aluminum to prevent the alcohol from attacking the raw aluminum ?.

    you could try caster oil. i use it in my fuel as a lubricant, it leaves a thin film in the base of the tank

    PJ-1 Black Chain Lube. Stays put, methanol will not eat it. (fuel check & longevity).
