Currently using the stiff yellow strip hose with wire. Tired of fighting it to assemble. Anything a little more flexible that works well? Blown alcohol application to fit 1.250 OD hard line.
    Thanks

weld a treaded fitting to hard line, then get threaded fitting for bottom of fuel pump.

Most common thing I see is aluminum hard line as far as you can run with an aluminum elbow and small sections of the rubber line you described connecting them. Just enough for flexibility.

If you're referring to the NAPA black w/yellow stripe hose, that's nasty for alky hose anyway. (got suspicious with that hose when new getting thrown out for bad color alky, cut a chunk and threw it in pan of alky and 20 min. later alky was yellow). Purosil blue jacket/red inner core silicon hose is perfect, not cheap. Use a 90* hard bend into pump with rolled beads, and clamps made for silicone. Welding threaded fittings is disaster coming soon for way too many reasons.

Yea not doing any welded fitting to the pump. That will crack for sure.
Hose I have is bellowsflex SAE J2006 . I think I bought it from Tim McAmis. I will just keep using it i guess. Just wishing it was a little more flexible but it sure will not suck shut. Might look into the hose Bob mentioned when I have time. Thanks!

I've been using assembly lube to help putting hoses together. It's amazing how much it helps, and doesn't take much.
