8 MM pulley VS 8 MM GT

    I'm new to blower stuff so hope this is not too bad of a question.
    I have a TBS blower setup and I want to buy a smaller top pulley.
    Belt is a GT belt but the blower shop only sells 8 pulleys.
    I'm pretty sure the existing pulleys are from TBS so I'm presuming they are 8mm.
    Is it possible to intermix regular 8mm pulley with a GT belt?
    I'm afraid I could not differentiate between the two styles of pulleys to tell which is which.
    Any tips or advice

    Robert thank you for the tip about inside diameter I'll check.
